Ministry of Finance Department of Revenue Directorate of Enforcement Applications are invited for filling up the following posts on deputation basis in the Directorate of Enforcement:

Name of the post:-

1. Assistant Legal Advisor

2. Assistant Director

மாத சம்பளம்:-

1. Assistant Legal Advisor (Rs. 67,700-2,08,700)

2. Assistant Director  (Rs. 56, 100-1,77,500)

The applications in the prescribed format, complete in all respects along with the supporting documents as required in the application form may be sent through proper channel addressed to the Director, 

Directorate of Enforcement, Pravartan Bhawan, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi 110011. 

These are open ended vacancy circulars and complete applications received by last day of every month shall be considered for selection in the subsequent month for available vacancies. The process will continue till all the vacancies are filled up.

1. Qualification:-

i. Essential:- Bachelor's Degree in Law from a National School or a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates are required to submit/attach the experience certificate issued by the Bar Association in support of the claim of the practice.

ii. Desirable:- Minimum experience of 2 years at Bar/Court dealing with Criminal Laws and Fiscal Laws.

NOTE: Candidates having LLM degree with 3 years of professional/ academic/ research experience may be given additional weight age for higher qualification and experience.

2. Age:-

Candidate should not be more than 32 years of age as on the date of last date of submission of application.

3. Fees:-
The candidates who are engaged as Legal Consultant will be paid a consolidated fee of Rs.80,000/- (Eighty Thousand) per month.

4. Nature of Duties:-

The candidates engaged as Legal Consultants shall render assistance to Officers of the Directorate as directed. They may be required to appear before the Appellate Tribunal for Foreign Exchange, Adjudicating Authority and Appellate Tribunal for PMLA and other Courts as directed. They may also be required to brief the Senior Law Officers, Central Government Standing Counsels and Senior/Panel Advocates.
