இன்ஸ்டாகிராம், யூடியூப் மற்றும் பேஸ்புக் போன்ற சமூக ஊடக தளங்களில் வரும் விளம்பரங்கள் மூலம் தள்ளுபடி விலையில் பட்டாசுகள் விற்பனை செய்வதாகக் கூறி, இந்த பண்டிகை காலத்தை பயன்படுத்தி மக்களை ஏமாற்றுகின்றனர். இன்ஸ்டாகிராம், யூடியூப் மற்றும் பேஸ்புக் போன்ற பிரபலமான தளங்களில் போலி விளம்பரங்களை உருவாக்குவது வழக்கமான தந்திரங்களில் ஒன்றாகும். 

இந்த விளம்பரங்கள் பெரும்பாலும் பட்டாசுகள் அல்லது பிற பண்டிகை பொருட்களுக்கு குறிப்பிடத்தக்க தள்ளுபடியை வழங்குகின்றன. இது ஆன்லைனில் பண்டிகை சலுகைகளை தேடுபவர்களை அதிகம் ஈர்க்கிறது கடந்த செப்டம்பர் மற்றும் அக்டோபர் மாதங்களில் மட்டும் தேசிய சைபர் கிரைம் ரிப்போர்ட்டிங் போர்ட்டலில் (www.cybercrime.gov.in) இந்த பட்டாசு விற்பனை மோசடி தொடர்பாக 17 புகார்கள் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில், தீபாவளி காலத்தில் ஆன்லைன் பட்டாசு விற்பனை மோசடிகள் அதிகரித்திருப்பதாக தமிழ்நாட்டின் சைபர் கிரைம் பிரிவு போலீசார் எச்சரிக்கின்றனர். 

மோசடி எவ்வாறு செயல்படுகிறது: 

இந்த மோசடி கும்பல், பண்டிகைக் கால ஷாப்பிங்கை குறிவைத்து, தள்ளுபடி விலையில் பட்டாசுகளை விற்பதாகக் கவர்ச்சிகரமான லாபகரமாகத் தோன்றும் விளம்பரங்களை வடிவமைக்கின்றனர். மக்கள் வாட்ஸ்அப் மூலமாகவோ அல்லது கைப்பேசி அழைப்பு மூலமாகவோ இவர்களைத் தொடர்பு கொள்கிறார்கள். அவ்வாறு தொடர்பு கொள்ளும்பொழுது (www.kannancrackers.in, www.sunrisecrackers.com) போன்ற போலி இணையதளங்ளில் பட்டாசுகளை வாங்க அறிவுறுத்துகின்றனர். 

இணையத்தளங்கள் வெளிதோற்றத்தில் காண்பதற்கு உண்மையானது போல தோன்றினாலும் இவை பணத்தைத் திருடுவதற்காக வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டவை ஆகும். இவை பெரும்பாலும் உண்மையான தோற்றமுடைய தயாரிப்பு பட்டியல்கள், விலைகள் மற்றும் பணம் செலுத்தும் விருப்பங்களைக் காண்பிக்கும். பணம் செலுத்தும் பொழுது சில கூடுதல் தள்ளுபடிகளும் சேர்த்து காண்பிக்கப்படும். 

ஆனால், பணம் செலுத்தியவுடன், ஆர்டர் செய்த பொருட்கள் நம்மை வந்து சேரும் என்பதில் எந்த உறுதியும் இல்லை. இவ்வாறான தளங்களை பயன்படுத்தி மோசடி செய்பவர்கள் பணத்துடன் தலைமறைவாகிவிடுகிறார்கள். மேலும், இந்த வலை தளங்களிலுள்ள தங்கள் தகவல்களையும் நீக்கிவிடுகின்றனர்

இதனால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் தங்களின் பணத்தை பறிகொடுக்க நேரிடுறது. கூடுதலாக, பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் தங்களின் தனிப்பட்ட நிதி தகவல்களைப் பகிர்வதன் மூலம் அவர்களது சுய விவரங்களை மோசடிகாரர்கள் தவறான செயல்களுக்கு பயன்படுத்த வழி வகுக்கிறது குறிப்பாக பண்டிகைக் காலங்களில் இதுபோன்ற மோசடிகளுக்கு இரையாகும்போது பொது மக்களுக்கு ஏற்படும் மன உளைச்சல் அதிகமாகவே இருக்கிறது. 

சைபர் பாதுகாப்புக்கான ஆலோசனை: 

1 பணம் செலுத்தும் முன் ஆன்லைன் விற்பனையாளர்களின் நம்பகத்தன்மையை சரிபார்த்து, அவர்களிடம் முறையான முகவரிகள் மற்றும் தகவல் தொடர்பு இருப்பதை உறுதிசெய்யவும். 

2. நம்பத்தகாத ஒப்பந்தங்களை ஊக்குவிக்கும் சமூக ஊடக விளம்பரங்களைக் குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள். 

3 வழக்கத்திற்கு மாறாக குறைந்த விலைகள் மற்றும் 'வரையறுக்கப்பட்ட நேர சலுகைகள்" குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள், ஏனெனில் இவை பெரும்பாலும் மோசடிகளைக் குறிக்கின்றன. 

4. தள்ளுபடிகள் உண்மையானவை என்பதை உறுதிசெய்ய, நன்கு அறியப்பட்ட விற்பனையாளர்கள் மற்றும் இணையதளங்களில் விலைகளைச் சரிபார்க்கவும். 

5. நன்கு அறியப்பட்ட பிராண்டுகள், அதிகாரப்பூர்வ இணையதளங்கள் அல்லது பிரபலமான இ-காமர்ஸ் தளங்களில் இருந்து வாங்குவதை விரும்புங்கள். 

6. பேஸ்புக், இன்ஸ்டாகிராம் அல்லது யூடியூப் போன்ற தளங்களில் சந்தேகத்திற்கிடமான விளம்பரங்களைப் புகாரளிப்பதன் மூலம், மற்றவர்கள் பாதிப்படைவதைத் தடுக்கலாம். 

7. பாதுகாப்பற்ற தளங்களில் அல்லது WhatsApp வழியாக தனிப்பட்ட அல்லது நிதி விவரங்களைப் பகிர்வதைத் தவிர்க்கவும்.

The Cyber Crime Wing, Tamil Nadu has identified a surge in online crackers sale fraud during the Diwali season, with 17 complaints registered on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (www.cybercrime.gov.in) between September and October 2024. How the Scam Works: Scammers design attractive advertisements promoting discounted crackers, targeting festive shoppers. 

Victims contact scammers via WhatsApp or through call, eager to capitalize on seemingly lucrative deals. Scammers share fake websites, such as (www.kannancrackers.in, www.sunrisecrackers.com), which appear legitimate but are designed to steal money. These sites often display genuine-looking product catalogs, prices and payment options. These websites may request payment for crackers at discounted prices. Once payment is made, victims never receive their ordered products. The scammers abscond with the money, leaving victims with financial losses. Additionally, victims may compromise their online security by sharing personal financial information. The emotional distress of falling prey to such scams can be significant, especially during festive seasons.

Advisory to Public: 

1. Verify online sellers' authenticity before making payments, ensuring they have legitimate physical addresses and contact information. 

2. Be cautious of social media ads promoting unrealistic deals. 

3. Be cautious of unusually low prices and "limited-time offers," as these often indicate scams. 

4.Cross-check the prices with well-known sellers and websites to ensure that the discounts are genuine. 

5. Prefer to buy from well-known brands, official websites, or established e-commerce platforms. 

6.Report suspicious ads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube to prevent others from falling victim. 

7.Avoid sharing personal or financial details on unsecured platforms or via WhatsApp.
